Hi Kathy, It was good to see you again at the L&M meeting last night. What a treat to be able to meet and talk with a person who had WLS 23 years ago!!! She was a very motivational speaker and had lots of great wisdom to share with all of us newbies. It is very encouraging to see someone still enjoying the health benefits of WLS long term and was a real lesson in how our tool is always there, we just need to keep using it. B- egg salad and 3 slices of turkey bacon L - not sure -- having some painful dental work this morning - may just need to have soup or something I don't need to chew s - if i can... apple slices D - Chicken ceasar salad s - sf popcicle 45 mins of nordic walking today after work have a great (and chilly...brrr...) day! terri

I am also glad that it is almost Friday, tomorrow I am going to visit w/ the bf in NJ. I am actually taking the day off so I can get there early and beat the drunken yahoos that will be out for St. Patricks Day. After six years of living in Boston, I tend to assume that it is best to be off the streets, especially after dark! B - protein bar S - string cheese L - 4 meatballs w/ fat free ricotta & salsa D - hamburger & fat free cheese on low carb wrap S- soy chips Tracking my food intake on sparkpeople.com, much simpler than fitday and has more resources availible, like a water tracker. I've been good at keeping my intake under 1000 calories a day the past few days but now comes the weekend and I am a little scared. I have to really plan to make good choices when I am with the bf b/c it tends to feel like a vacation. But anyway, good news, I can fit back into my size 14 pants comfortably today, a minor miracle. I've actually decided to up my goal to 190 instead of 163 as I had first planned. The desire to be thin kind of drove me crazy so I think I will just focus on maintaining this current weight and if I lose more weight, great. Happy weekend guys!

Hey girl just grab a suger free ice pop when your feeling a little hungry, or something suger free to drink! That kept the munchies away in my early weeks after surgery!Good going on the "eliptical" The darn things scare the heck out of me. Way too much going on at one time. Will stick to the bikes and treadmills! Take Care, Julio
