Free and Clear...
Hi Towanda,
Congratulations on the positive outcome of your recent medical evaluation. I wish you the very best, and hope that your action plans will meet with success.
After reading your post, and the responses that followed, I was also trying to guess what it was that you ate first, I thought that it was either fish or salt. But Cottage Cheese? What's the connection? Is there a lot of iodine in cottage cheese? I plead food ignorance, having always been a person who just ate what I wanted to when I wanted to, I never concerned myself with nutritional lables. So please, end the suspense, what did you eat when you got the free and clear ?

Cottage cheese my man!
I "ran" to the cafeteria at the hospital and ate a small bowl of cottage cheese! YUM...
Those who know and "love" me (ask Kim your angel) joke about my obsession with cottage cheese. What can I say?
Dairy (which I eat lots of now) is high in iodine.
who knew?
How are you doing since surgery?
Healing well I hope? Feeling better with each new day?
Glad you are around... you seem to have a wonderful calming sense about you.
Be well...
Towanda
Hi Towanda,
So happy that everything is okay and you are better than back on track!! I knew you would get things straightened out, I am just happy that it is happening so fast.
My guess for what you ate would of been the same as Julio's - seafood and not knowing you well, I have no idea what you ate first!! You will have to let us know if anyone guessed correctly!!
Take care and let me know how you are doing!

yikes she likes cottage cheese? okay so I don't feel like a weirdo anymore- wanna know what I have missed and am craving?
FREAKING SALAD. That's right people- me- who *****ed for three months that I felt like one of my sheep on the freaking South Beach regime.
I miss salad. Good Lord I need a psychiatrist.
So. I cook the traditional Corned Beef dinner at the ol' McBride house tonight for dinner- everybody sits down with their big slabs of meat and cabbage and carrots and Irish soda bread slathered with real butter....and I sit down with my sandwich plate and it's contents- a few pieces of carrot and a few ounces of corned beef - my husband who until now has been wonderful says "wow that's it huh?" I wanted to ***** slap him into tomorrow. I snuck a little tiny piece of the bread with a smidgen of butter- damn that just fills me right up.
