1 Year appointment
I just got back from my 1 year checkup with Dr. Duffy. I have lost 122 lbs. And all my bloodwork is great. I have lost 95% of my excess weight. Another 7lbs and I will be considered of normal BMI, according to the BMI calculator of course. But Dr. Duffy said it is hard to sit there and call me overweight since I am probably smaller than most people on the street. Smaller than most? Never thought that would be possible. I feel great and I guess I look great too (with clothes on of course). I am so greatful to have had this opportunity and I am very happy with the results so far. I am going to work hard to maintain this weight loss. This was the best thing I have ever done to be healthy. And dang I do look good! Hope to have a tummy tuck and maybe a thigh lift! Can't believe I just might have a flat, toned abdomen! Well enough of all that! Thanks to all of you, who post faithfully every day....I believe reading your struggles and triumphs have helped me greatly!
