Thanks Kathy - It looks really interesting! Do you actually put weight on the poles while your walking? How does it impact if someone has shoulder pain? I've never heard of this before - it looks like it is somewhat new to this country. Do you nordic walk mostly on flat ground or is hiking a good option? Thanks! Best Regards, Tammy 6 days Post Op!

Hi Tammy No there is no weight on the poles while walking. The poles are very light to use it and it will be excellent for someone who have shoulder pain or knee pains. you should email my perosnal trainer to ask her about this and she is the right person to answer your question . You can use flat ground for basic and later you can use it for snow road, hiking path, beach sands... hummmmm sounds fun! Hugs Kathy k

Hi Kathy - What I meant to ask was do you put your weight onto the poles while your walking or are they more just something to hold and guide? Thanks!

Tammy Sorry I misunderstand your previous question and hope this will answer your answer. SMILE! yes I slip my hand into strap and fasten the strap then hold the poles and let it go when It won't fall off and still attach from my strap. I wish you live closer and I can come to your house to show you what it look like and you can try it on.
