My husband rocks!

I just had to share my very first NSV! We were sitting at the table eating dinner - while my husband and son were eating - I was having my usual dinner broth........and my husband looked at me and said I can already see some weight loss in your face! I guess based on the fact that I haven't eaten anything solid for the entire month of March might be having a tiny bit of an impact. That made my day! When things like that come out of his mouth it just gives confirmation to my great decision to marry this guy 15 years ago! Best Regards, Tammy 4 days post op!

Awww, Tammy, that is so sweet!! It definately helps out ALOT when your man is super supportive and encouraging. My ex was a stick in the mud and even after losing 75lbs he didn't seem to care or even compliment me really. Now, my fiancee Mark is WONDERFUL. I bought some "inspiration" pants in December -- it was 6 pairs that were all a size or two too small. The day I finally fit into ALL of them, he was SOOOOO happy for me, and he took me out to celebrate. It's nice, he recognizes the need for small mini goals and milestones. Sooo every time I reach one, he rewards with me with lots of affirmation that I'm doing well. It's so awesome to have someone supporting me this time around!! -CJ

The "inspiration clothes" is SUCH a good idea, I wish I had thought of it years ago! It really does work, and it's so rewarding because you SEE the gradual changes... it's perfect for mini-goals. I had bought a shirt back in January that was way too snug around my waist -- but whaddya know I fit into it and wore it out on Saturday night!! It's an awesome feeling. I keep my closet stocked with a constant supply of at least TWO inspiration outfits at all times. When I fit into one, I go out and buy another. This way, when I break into one of them, I don't get comfortable and slack off because I know I still have another one to break into. I think everyone should have some inspiration clothes. Nothing TOO drastic, because it'll feel like you're not getting anywhere. But... go out and buy something that is 1-2 sizes too small. Every week try it on... and with every week you WILL notice a slight difference, and it will be just the right amount of affirmation to keep you going through the next week, and the next week, and before you know it, you're sliding right into them!! On another note... how are you feeling??? Let us know about your progress!! -CJ 250/169/140
