2nd ANNUAL SUMMER PICNIC UPDATE

Hey there my OH Family, Here is the information for our Second Annual Summer Picnic I corrected the typo on the date: DATE: SATURDAY, JUNE 24TH PLACE: HAMMONASSET STATE PARK (MADISON CT) TIME: NOON TO WHENEVER COST: Asking for donations of $10 for rental fee for the day. ($125.00 to rent the whole day, this does not include the parking fee to enter) Come one come all for some fun in the sun. Its that time of the year again. Lets all get together for a great day of fun, friends, family and some food and drink too. This facility has large pavillions, grills and a beautiful beach to swim at. There is a great trail to walk, a nature center and also grassy areas to have activites and relax. I am hoping that we have a great turnout this year. I already have so many people volunteering to help me out. This is wonderful. I love you guys. Its impossible to please everyone but majority of people really want this place for our get together. I hope everyone will come and join us for this great event. We are going to plan alot of fun events like last year. We hope everyone will get involved this year. BASEBALL GAMES SOFTBALL GAMES BADMITTON VOLLEYBALL FRISBEE BOCCI SACK RACES FISHING SWIMMING MUSIC MAYBE SOME DANCING SOCIALIZING RAFFLE These are just some ideas I am throwing out there, we can come up with alot of fun things to do both for the children and the adults. This invitation is open to everyone's family, friends and signficant others. The more the merrier. You can bring all your own supplies, food, drink, etc. Like last year we all brought various things and even shared too. There are (2) pedestal grills to cook on so you can bring charcoal or if you prefer you can bring your own portable if you have one. There are (12) picnic tables in each pavillion and there is even a concession stand in the area too. There are restroom facilities available and parking. Get the word out to everyone and lets make this a great success. This is such a great group of people and we all have so much fun together, Saturday night at the Gala was an example of how much we all enjoy eachother. Lets keep this going everyone!!!!! Again all monies made on the raffle will be donated to the Foundation like our Spring Gala, Annual Walk, etc. We want to help in anyway we can. So if you would like to donate prizes, gift cards, baskets etc. it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone and I hope to see all of you there this year. Hugs KimC

HI Kim I am glad Lisa C had an excellent eye to catch on wrong date and Dont worry about mistyped. it can happen to all of us too. I am looking forward for this party . I got an interpreter for me from 100 pm to 300 pm. He will be there for me again and love to be interpreter for me because he said listen each of your journey inspires him too even thought he is not gastress bypass patient. He said all of us are so nice people he met last year and want to meet all of you this Summer. Thank you for understand why I need an interpreter because I love to listen each person his/her journey. Hi Kim - There is a good possibility that me and my family will attend - I might even drag grandma along with us! ;) Sounds like a great time - and also a safe environment not to worry about what I look like in a bathing suit!
