It's been a long time

Hi Everyone! I've been gone for a LONG time, huh? I am almost 2 1/2 years out and have been stable for about a year.  I am SO FAR from where I want to be! I did lose 115 pounds in 10 months.  Then I got pregnant and fell back into my old ways.  I started drinking sweet tea (grew up on it being raised in the south) and now I can't stop! So, I went from 363 pounds to 250 (when I first got pregnant), and am now up to around 275, although I haven't weighed myself lately because I'm a little scared.

I do have a beautiful 10 month old daughter, Rachael, and I'll be posting her pictures soon.  I also have so much more energy than I did 100 pounds ago.  But, I've got to get down to at least 175.  At the very least.  I have lots of gross hangy skin too that only surgery will be able to take care of.

So, I wanted to get back into being a regular OH member again, cut the crap, and work this wonderful tool that I have.  And I KNOW it still works.  My problem is that I drink my calories.  So, welcome to my life, Splenda! Adios Sugar!

It's great to be back and I know that you all will inspire me to jump back on the wagon.

Love to you,

Michelle

Welcome back and congratulations on your beautiful daughter Rachael.

Don't be scared, get on that scale and face the music. Now is the time to start, don't wait any longer. Stay away from all those empty liquid calories and and get back to basics, protien first! no drinking with meals you know the drill. Go take that baby out for a walk every day if you aren't already. You can get back in  control, just take small baby steps and don't give up.

All the best

Wow 2 1/2 years already that's amazing! Congratulations on your baby (I have a 15 month old now).....

Good to see you back and hopefully you will continue with the right attitude to get to where you want to be!! Splenda is great - it is sweet without an aftertaste so you can have your tea and drink it too!
Warm Regards - Tammy -

Michelle,
Arizona make a great diet iced tea with Splenda that you can buy by the gallon.  They used to make it in Peach flavor too, but I haven't been able to find it this summer.  My husband drinks it all the time.
Good luck.

ohhh..I absolutely LOVE that tea!!

WE ARE PUT ON THIS EARTH NOT TO SEE THROUGH EACH OTHER...BUT TO SEE EACH OTHER THROUGH

"Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one
hand,  mudslide in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and
  screaming !   HOT DAMN.....WHAT A RIDE!!

BECOME THE CHANGE YOU WANT TO SEE

I like the Peach especially and I able to find some at Walgreen's.  They usually have sales for them too.  Like 2 gallons for $5.
Glad to see you are back posting. I missed you.
