This is crazy!!!!!

All I have done is attend the orientation seminar with Dr. Valin and yet my mind is so far ahead. I'm finding myself feeling thinner just from reading all of the postings and profiles here. I can hardly wait for when it's real!!!!!!!

Hey Sandy, Welcome, I hope your on your way to becoming part of our OH family. Dr. Valin is a great doctor and your in good hands if you choose him as your surgeon, that whole group is wonderful. I had Dr. Denise Barajas next door and they are all great too. Good luck with your steps and hopefully you will be telling us soon your on the losing side. Sandy, I used Dr Valin and would swear by him. If you are interested, I have a pretty detailed profile about my experiences throughout this journey. I did not include as much pre-op stuff as I should have but did well with the post-op stuff. Take care Scott

Hi, Sandy! Welcome to the CT message board! Although you've chosen Dr. Valin, since you live in Middletown, feel free to attend the support group meetings at Middlesex Hospital. Although most attendees are patients of Dr. Aranow, anyone is welcome, no matter who their surgeon is. The meetings are on Mon. nights and I post on the board at the end of each week details about the following week's meeting. Hope to meet you sometime, Debby
