i was in the hospital from thursday to sunday. i loved the nurse and st francis, but i hated being there i just wanted to be home with my family. i was getting no sleep, just in, felt like a giant bowl of poop..lol
when sunday came i was sooooo happy to go home. but omg let me tell you. everyone has this drain while in the hospital, well right before you get discharged the pull it out.......OH MY GOD, I WILL NOT LIE IT HURT SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BAD. it feels like a knife is being pulled out of you....ugh i can still feel it. but as soon as it came out the pain went right away.
so yes it been 9 days and ive already lost 14 pounds....ahhhhhhhhh its CRAZY! but its only the beginning!!!
so here is my long awaited update..lol i hope it helps for all u pre-ops, but if you have any questions please please just ask...ill be happy to help!!

Well it's about time Toni!
Holy Cow 14 pounds already!!! That is totally crazy
I've heard about that dreaded drain and am thrilled to learn that they don't do that with the band -
Glad to hear that you're feeling better - getting to the mushie food will be like heaven! I'm looking forward to that so much - I can't wait to taste a scrambled egg again! 4 days of liquid makes me really, really appreciate food that's for sure!
Thanks for the update Toni - now don't wait so long to give another one!
Best Regards,
Tammy
Count Down: 3 days!
Hi Tammy I am happy to hear your feeling well. That drain thing is one of the reasons why I wouldn't even think about going to Dr Barba because I was afraid of that as I had heard it hurt like HE**...
Dr Aranow doesn't use them and believe me that was the 1ST QUESTION I ASKED at my meeting with him lol
Take care hon.
Congrats on the 9 lbs..
