3 days pre op

Getting a little nervous but VERY excited. Any advice on what I should have at home? I've got the vitamins, protein supp.,plenty of sf jello... any other suggestions?

I would probably just add some broth to that list. You don't want to over buy too much as your taste buds do change after surgery. It sounds like you are well prepared. Best wishes for a safe journey through surgery and for a quick recovery. Maggie

I would add suger free ice pops to your list as well. Great way to get your fluids in a little at a time. A baby spoon worked well for me also as it only lets you take a little at a time. Take care and God Bless! Julio

Well, I guess we will share an anniversary in 2007. I go in to surgery on Monday, 3/6 @ 12:30 PM. I wish you the VERY BEST (before, during, and after), even as I desire the very best and safest experience for myself. May the Lord fully attend to your needs and secure your health! Ken

I just went shopping for after surgery food and in addition to what others have suggested and what you've written I got some sf pudding and some tomato soup......... Best Regards, Tammy Count down: 3 days!
