WLS Spring Gala

Hi, All! From the latest count of tickets sold and people who have said that they'll be getting tickets at the door, we have told Il Monticello to prepare for approx. 120 - 140 people to be at the dance Sat. night. That's about twice as many as were there last yr., so we should be able to raise a decent amount of money. Remember, this is a fundraiser and the money is added to that which is raised by the Walk from Obesity (to be held in Sept.). Speaking of which, this isn't yet confirmed, but rumor has it that more money was raised by those of us in CT at last yr.'s walk than by any other state in the country. That includes the much larger, more heavily-populated states like NY, CA and Texas. Little old CT did it! Due to the larger turnout, the tables will be set up for 10 people at each, not 8 as I originally told you, so I reserved 6 tables for the people of this board. That includes Carla's group. So when you get to the dance, look for the set of tables with signs that will read "Reserved - OH". See you Sat. night, Debby

Hey Carla and Debby, Thank you for working hard to collect alot of people for this party! You both did great job! Nobody cannot beat us (CT) !!! Hey guys... Bob, Julio , Dave and other guys who are willing to join ... Better to rest alot on Friday night and Saturday morning to save your Engery for the dance with a looonnnngggg line of Ladies . DITTO to Julio's thanks to everyone involved in putting this even together! IF it were not for all your hard work we all would not be gathering together to not only help a worthy cause but also celebrate our continuing own victory with obesity. See you all with bells on on Saturday night! Although, I have been putting in way too much OT this past month at work and I may be the chick sleeping in the corner table! T.

Cudos to Debby and Carla, :CLAP Great job girls. You organized a great amount of people. We are going to have a blast. You too are the greatest. I can't wait to see everyone, and meet all our new members too. Can't wait to fight over Bob, Julio and Dave too. Clock is ticking, two more days and its boogy time!!!!!
