Jaime's Surgery Successful!
Hey CT! Towanda... Jaime's Angel.
GOOD NEWS ABOUNDS!
Jaime came through her surgery with flying colors yesterday.
While it was a very long day for her and her parents, I am happy (elated beyond words) to say that Dr. Neil Floch was able to help Jaime yesterday, hopefully giving her renewal and possibility now.
Jaime was in surgery from about 2:00 pm until about 7:30 pm. I was able to see her in recovery and she looked "grand".
I have never seen her look more beautiful than last night, FINALLY...with some peace on her face and even a smile or two.
I will not go into much detail as that I was not in my usual hypervigilant mode of taking notes. ...
I was just embracing the moment of happiness with Jaime and her parents.
Dr. Floch removed a huge amount of adhesions that were in exactly THE places that Jaime has been having pain for the past year+!
AND... he was able to do it all laparoscopically. NO open surgery was needed! This in part because of the expertise of Dr. Neil Floch.
He was also able to fix her fistula.
I am grateful to Dr. Floch for listening to Jaime...
He listened and heard her and believed that there, was indeed, a physical reason for all her pain. This was so important to Jaime.
BRAVO to Jaime for listening to her body and never abandoning what her heart was telling her...
and .... BRAVO to Dr. Floch for stepping up to the plate and being the one to help her.
The GOOD NEWS is that Jaime now has a chance to recover and be free from all the pain she has had for so long. There is renewed hope and possibility.
A HUGE thanks to each of you on this list for your prayers and collective good energy.
IT worked!
More updating as Jaime's recovery progresses.
My best to you all.
