Food & Exercise Log Monday
Hey Everybody,
I hate Mondays!! I am little tired this morning. Hope you had a great weekend. It was so cold this morning when I got out from my bed and wish I am on Deafcruise to enjoy warmer weather again !!! Our kids are returning to school today after took winter vacation last week.
Co worker s birthday is Feb 29 she have to decide to celebrate her birthday on tuesday or Wednesday sicne this year is not leap year on her birthday then we will take her out for lunch either that day she picks.
B- slice of ham and mozz stick (rush this morning)
S nectar protein drink and load of water
L cold shrimps with little dip of sauce
S load of water
D have not decide yet
S Simple smart milk and load of water
Will meet my trainer tonight to work out for full body. will drink nectar protein drink during exercise.
Keep WARM and try to make your time for 30 min or more for exercise then you will feel great after you did it

B-my usual rye toast w/cheese..it fills me up and stays with me
S-hard boiled egg
L-1/2 cup of tuna salad on a bed of lettice
S-protein bar
D-taco salad---made with ground turkey..mmmm can't wait!
S-WW ice cream bar
I am up to 40 oz of water--besides my decaf coffee...I was lax there for a while...and it took me a bit to get up there again..I notice it really helps keep that scale at bay.

I with you Kathy! I usually don't have a problem with Mondays but today was so cold I just wanted to stay in bed!
Well, I must confess that while I had a great weekend, it was not the best food wise. A friend of mine had 2 parties, for her anniversary and her birthday. There was oodles of food and boy did I eat. It wasn't so much that it was all bad food, it was just that I was eating it b/c it was there not because I was hungry. Of course, I could look at it that a year ago I would have parked myself at the buffet table and not moved until every scrap of food was gone. But, that is sort of a cop out after awhile I think. Of course my eating is better than it was. I physically couldn't eat that much if I had to!
B - cottage cheese w/ nuts
S - south beach bar
L - jerk chicken - leftovers from party I'll probably be eating all week
S - slim fast low carb protein shake
D - more chicken
So anyway, I refuse to step on a scale. I know that after two days of eating I have gained weight b/c I always do. And I know that if I see any number over 199 lb I will feel like a big horrible failure and I just don't need that. I am actually thinking of doing what people have been telling me more ages and that is just to give the scale away. Its really come to the point where my self esteem depends on the number that I see. Anyway, back to basics, eating correctly and Leslie Sansome dvd tonight.

I agree completely to what you have said about the scale. I feel like I have become a slave to it. I give credit to folks that only go on once a week or even once a month. I have still not been able to do that. I am over a year post op and have the last 20lbs. to go and it is tough!!!! Even though the scale really helps keep me in check, at the same time I am so ruled by it. I have to often remind myself how far I have come and not beat myself up if the scale moves up a pound or two.
Anyway, I know I often do not post, but I am always reading what others have posted and want you all to know that this board is very inspiring....

Welcome to Ct Message board!!! You made me smile when I read your post about scale! I dont weight myself except once a monthly to see how much I weight but I keep exercise everyday except Sundays to keep my mind feel peace of mind. I do have fear in my mind is regain back weights.. I always tell people to mail me their scales or I will take it with me Hope to meet you this Saturday? Are you coming?

Hi everyone
Like Joanie, I am alive and most days well. I miss my OH friends. I can't wait to see everyone at the gala on Sat. night. It's so nice to have something to look forward to.
It is freezing out this morning and I like the rest of you would just like to climb under the covers with a good book.
B- Low sugar oatmeal with a scoop of protein powder
S- 1.5 oz Detour Bar
L- South Beach Lunch Wraps
S- Power Crunch Bar
D- 2-3 oz. of beef oven roast, veggie
S- If I have one, SF pudding
I've been good with water, getting in about 80 oz. a day. Am trying to get better with exercise. Have been doing my exercise bike and crunches. I'm hoping to get back to the Y soon to start swimming. I miss that, but as I can't drive right now I'm a slave to my husband's schedule.

I am so happy to hear you are all getting together. I wish I could come. Its a bit far and I am not a highway driver. I cant wait to hear all about it and hope we do something closer in the future so I can meet all of you.

Hello Everyone.
Mondays I hate, I am always dragging my butt. Its crazy here today at work as always, the phones are off the wall. I had a great weekend, the Beauty and the Beast show I saw yesterday at the Warner Theatre in Torrington CT was awesome, Erin loved it. Went on a bus trip with the senior center I work for. It was a blast.

D: probably pea soup

Lots of waters today. I drank two bottles of snapple ice tea. One in the early afternoon and one in the latter of the day.

Okay will be exercising mega mega tonight. I am going to do my workout tapes and then the bike if I am not too tired. Thursday is my upper GI so I will find out what the heck is wrong with me and why I am still at a stop!!!

Okay I am back today on Weigh****chers. I just got back from vacation, went to Puerto Rico for 7 days. I had a great time and boy did I make bad choices with food... I gained two pounds so its not that bad could of been worse. I am going to exercise after school and try not to snack... Boy its hard getting back on track...
I have an appt with the plastic surgeon on March 24th - can't wait.... Want to lose at least 15 more before surgery....
