Thank you for that! No, not yet ready for surgery and I'm not real sure about the iron. I have been taking 4 prenatal vitamins and 3 iron pills a day. I am going for a blood test on 3-6-06 and will be hoping for the best!!! I called and left you a message this morning about it... As for telling someone that they have a pretty face...I heard that A LOT when I was heavy and I think that its more of an insult than a compliment. I know that here in this forum its not an insult but...you know. Jessica

Oh yeah - you're right Jessica - I've heard that my entire life..... "You have such a pretty face, if ONLY you could lose some weight" sometimes the second half of the sentence was spoken outloud - sometimes it was just a facial expression - but the if ONLY was ALWAYS there!! It's like .......Here let me give you a compliment in one breath and take it away quickly with the next! Total BS!! Best Regards, Tammy Count Down: 13 days!

Hi Towanda - Thank you so much.....first of all for the compliment and calling my face youthful! Somedays I can't believe I'm already 41 and others I feel much older - I've come to the conclusion that age is not a stand alone number - it comes with all kinds of other variables - state of mind being one of them - however, I know that I can never act like a teenager because I just know way too much I feel very sorry that your friend Jamie has endured so much for so long - life just is so unfair sometimes, I used to hold firmly to my belief that everything happens for a reason, or there is a lesson in all that occurs in life - but after I lost my Dad to cancer when I was 7 months pregnant - my belief systems were rocked to the core and when I hear things like what is going on with Jamie - I don't hold on to the "everything happens for a reason" too tightly any longer - but I do believe there are always lessons to be learned..........I also know we can marvel in our accomplishments on a regular basis if we care to look at them.....okay talk about digression - I think I'm the queen! Maybe Jamie and I will play one day in the park with our children and we can invite you to join us! We can have a play with your kids in the park day! As a matter of fact - there is a play ground committee in my town (Somers) that has spent years and years raising money to build one of those boundless playgrounds and they are finally going to build it this year - maybe we can all make a date to meet there in late summer or early fall! Thanks for the well wishes Towanda - you have a wonderful way with words and I appreciate you taking the time to send me this encouragement! Best Regards, Tammy Count down: 13 days!

41? !!!! No way! I would have said early 30's... I kid you not! I will play with the kids (ON the jungle gym -- is that what they are still called? -- as only a Nana can do.. and because I can now that I have lost some weight!) and watch you two goils enjoy your new found freedom. It's a date... see you both sometime in the summer/fall! Be well... T.
