Seeking Some Major Support and Advice :)
What you've been through sounds like a nightmare! Hang on! I think you're about to wake up. Dr. Ehrlich did my Bypass 2 years ago and the group is amazing. Truly amazing. From the doctors to the office staff, all of them. We're all here for you. like many have said we're all one big family . Please don't hesitate to ASK for what you need from any of us.
call me anytime, Towanda has my number. I'm a good listener.
Hi Jamie,
You have been through a lifetime already with all of your surgeries and have come through them with flying colors, I can tell you are such a fighter. I know you can endure one more. Just let me say you are in the best hands! Dr. Ehrlich will be performing my surgery in the near future and I just can not say enough about the Dr. Flocks and Dr. Ehrlich - they and their staff are just wonderful.
You will be in my thoughts and prayers and please let us know how everything goes. I hope you wil be pain free after this surgery and your worries will be few.
(((((HUGS)))),

Jamie, I am so sorry that you are going through so much. I still remember how kind you were to give me the gym membership. I never could have afforded to join a gym otherwise. You were one of the first people that I made contact with here on the CT board and you were so sweet to me! As it has been said previously, you are a surviver and this all will just be one more thing that you will survive through. Don't worry about your son, this will show him that any obstacle can be overcome.
Jaime - I don't have any words of advice, but will certainly offer you as much support as I can muster. I cannot tell you how sorry I am that you have had to deal with so much the past two years, but I very strongly believe that you have gone to the right place for your revision. Neil Floch performed my bypass surgery and is a wonderful surgeon. Please try not to worry too much - I don't think for one second that you have survived so much to have the rug ripped out from under you at this late date. Stay strong, and I will be looking for an update with a huge smiley face next to it. Good luck
Jess
My goodness you've been through the ringer and back. I feel for your troubles and I wish you all the best moving forward. It sounds like you finally have some opportunity to explore and perhaps alleviate all this pain you're having. That is a wonderful thing.
Yes, it's another surgery, and another risk- but- can you live like this forever? From your tone, I'd say not. So it sounds like this is the best choice for you.
Again, i feel for you- no one WANTS to have surgery again! And, I wish you that absolute best outcome possible! I'm sure all will go well and Dr. Floch will do right by you.
a safe and REVEALING journey to you-

Dear Jaime:
You have put yourself in very good hands. I too turned to Floch Surgical team for my gastric bypass almost 2 years ago. They are a very caring group. We also have great support groups for post-op patients.
You will find the whole office staff to be extremely kind, considerate, and highly educated in this field. I wish you well. Come see us in the Bridgeport (St Vincents) support classes.

Hi Jaime....I am so sorry to hear about the many medical problems that you have seen in the past year or so. As for the wonderful direction that Towanda guided you to, there is no better direction or group of professional caring doctors. Dr. Ehrlich did my by-pass surgery 9 1/2 months ago and Dr. Neal Floch looked in on me after surgery and as for the rest of the group of wonderful people at FCB you are in the best hands possible. As for my new friends, I have never in my 54 years of life met a more loving caring group of people since I headed into my new journey, one year ago. As many heave already said, we will keep you in our prayers and know that myself along with all the rest of the CT board of friends will be here waiting for you.
May God Bless you and watch over you and Give you and your family the strength that is needed.

I just wanted to say thank you to each and every one of you who took the time to reply and wish me well. The nerves are in full force, but I know with all the prayers, angels, and vibes coming my way that this is the time and right thing to do. Hardest part isn't the surgery or the pain itself, but having to drop my son off at school this a.m. and be away from him even if only for a brief time.
He is my focus today. This is all about getting my life back and giving my little boy a life free from cancer, sickness, hospitals, labs, surgeries, and WORRIES!!! He is is great hands with his Dad, and my folks. I also adore his teacher and he has a therapist who will help him deal with today. Knowing he is OK, makes me OK!!
Again, thanks everyone and I hope to be posting as soon as possible. "Towanda", I should call her my personal assistant at this point, (LOL) Will be updating you all.
Thanks "Towanda" for everything and for my ususal pre-surgical therapy sessions. I'm surprised your rates haven't gone up by now
Love you all.
Here is to an uneventful, hoping they can figure it the heck out, non nausea, no gas pains, minimal pain, fix whatever is wrong and make me feel better surgery!!!
PS. Maybe I will behave and even start updating my profile after this!
Love, Jaime
