Looking into different options at this point... I like Dr. Giles for the closeness to where I live, but wont let that effect my end decision. Im TOTALLY frustrated right now with the hoops I have to jump thru. Dang it, dont they know this big girl has bad knees and cant jump too much? ::chuckles:: Thanks for the welcome!!!!
Checking out different surgeons is always a good idea. I went with Dr. Robert Bell out of Yale in New Haven for my laproscopic RNY. For me personally I just could not see having open surgery when option of having it done laproscopically was available. I had no problems at all with surgery and recovery was relatively easy in comparision to other surgeries I've had in the past. I recommend Dr. Bell very highly and think the extra ride to New Haven was worth it.
Good Luck!
