You'd think that this far out I would know. In the past if I have eaten something with too many carbs(such as SF CIB with skim milk) I get very nausous and have to lay down for 20 minutes. And It is exactly 20 minutes. I have always been very complliant and never put anything in my mouth that I shouldn't have. But since I have been sick in Dec. I am much more sensative(but I know I can eat 3 almond m and mm's and 2 twizzlers without difficulty) and a little less compliant. Today I made homemade waffles and ate 1/2 of one with sugar free syrup. About 10 minutes later my heart pounded and I got very nausous and had to lay down. I also made an abundance of saliva. I then had what my grandmother called "Lucy Bowels" with a tiny bit of cramping but not in such pain that I knew this was dumping. So it will be herbal tea for the rest of the day. I have read tons of messages regarding the foamies and vomiting and diarrhea and people always seem to know that they are dumping but i still am not sure. Could this just be my way of dumping?

Hi Linnie, sounds like it to me. I get the foamies and the cramps as well when I slip. Sure has a way of keeping you honest! We are all a little different so we all may vary a tad. The fact that it was very uncomfortable is the one thing that we all share. Take care and give that pouch a little rest and go on a wiser lady! Take Care, Julio

Linnie- this is def.initely dumping. No question. Your 'dump-o-meter' can change from time to time, so don't be surprised. I find my sensitivity to dumping paritcularly effected after sickness (like flu)- it's very heightened. Anyhow- be careful & take it slow with any foods you're not sure of. Best, Lisa C
