Waiting to have appointment with surgeon

I have heard so many nice things about Dr. Barba. I see him March 9th. How long after I see him is surgery usually scheduled? I have everything else done, even my endoscopy, (I had with another doctor). I just want to keep in touch with message board, I find it very informative and supportive. I hope to attend support meeting at Saint Francis Hospital the end of this month. My best to everyone Sher

Depending on the situation, most people leave the office with a surgery date (but remember that its not set in stone until we hear from the insurance company with an approval). Surgery is usually scheduled with the month after seeing him. Jessica Full abdominalplasty in 18 days!!!

Hi Sher, just like Jessica said it comes very shortly after the meeting with the surgeon, but its not set in stone until Ins approves............ Thanks to Jessica (I LOVE HER!!!) my surg was scheduled for Nov 17 and she submitted all the Ins things and bam I had surgery on Nov 17 and here I am today 63 pounds lighter!!!!!
