HAD MY YEAR CHECKUP TODAY

I will get through this I know that, its just hard sometimes. I have alot of love and support here with my OH family and it means alot to me that so many care. I am so grateful to be a part of this wonderful group.

I am sorry I was not on line yesterday all day until this morning. I agreed what Carla said about exercise different for everyday. Try to go swimming lap at public indoor pool, try to buy small dumb bell like 3 pounds to use it while you are walking to move your arms back and forth. I am thinking about to ask my personal trainer to see if she and her partner are willing to teach all of you to learn nordric walking for one day then you can use it like Terri and I use it . It burns more calories than just walking. I will ask her to find a place like in Guilford so that way it will be fair for people to drive to meet there. You have see my food log that I do eat protein like slice of ham with mozz cheese or cottage cheese, broiled egg etc..
I do eat very little good carb but I stayed away from Carb because they will make me to eat more carbs after try eating carb little. I do stick to alot of protien Meats because it made me full easily and stayed there than eating any carbs or protein drink. I do drink alot of water more than 100 oz per day and carry bottle of water or propel with me. I stayed away from soda or junk foods. If you try to not force too hard on weight scale then it will go down under 200 if you do exercise, eat proteins and alot of water and be happy! I want your weight scale now !! SMILE! Research a place where they have free public to use pool and have your daughter join gym with you to exercise together, etc. The good new you did not regain 10 pounds back or more than just steady same weight. I have see and hear people I know who are over 1 year regain alot of weight because they did not use their tools and went back their old ways. Just stick to use your tools and join Carla 's support group or Debby M 's support group in Hamden(sp?) We are all root for you and know you will make it. Relax from your mind and get your evil mind to think about weight scale out from your mind. I am sure your daughter will love to go any places to research to do exercise together. Try to book rafting at www.zoar.com this May or June. I love that place and will book for my son to go there in June. If you want to book together in June then let me know about it. Hang in there! Now you know why I stick exercise everyday excepts Sundays because I do have fear in my mind is REGAIN weight back. Follow my exercise route then you will be fine!

Hi Kim,
Everyone here has given you great advice. DON'T PANIC!! Things just need to be stirred up a bit. Get out of the old routine and get a new one. Whether it be food, excersise or whatever. Change is good. I am at my first platteau. My scale is stuck at the same weight for a week now. I will NOT panic. This happens. You have lost so much already. That is a blessing in it self for you. Now attack this as if it was all new. We will do it together. Ready!! Stand up-- Take a deeeeep breath. And say- "This is the NEW me.I will get through this!! I must-- I will-- I can!!!!"
There! we are ready to tackle our NEW routine!!!

Keep your chin up! I don't agree with what your doctor said about not doing good enough...cripes, you've lost 110 lbs IN A YEAR! That is fantastic.
I have a bit of a different take on this than others...I swear by my protein shakes. I found that if I were stuck on a plateau, I would UP my shake intake. Right now I am up to 3-4 a day (I don't really get hungry, so this works for me) and the weight is starting to come off again. But I do agree with everyone that you are not getting enough calories. Try upping them and see what happens.
