APPROVED!!!!!!!!!
I am approved.............yahoooooo!!!
I thought for sure I would have a hassle with Cigna - but I played by their rules and stuck it out, I went to my PCP faithfully every month, I tried my best to loose weight (a whopping 16 lbs.).....Dr. Barba's office submitted the paperwork on 2/9 and I got a call from Paula today saying congratulations (and telling me I need to pay my co-pay a week before surgery).
I just ordered the advanced recovery for before surgery and one container of vanilla, chocolate and unflavored unjury. Friday is the pre-surgery class and Monday is the endoscopy!
Pinch me (but not too hard)!!
Best Regards,
Tammy

Tammy!
Congrats on hanging in there and putting one foot in front of the other to make your dream of surgery a reality!
I dare say you will do well if you use that kind of thought and effort post op. I, tool, had to follow a 6 month diet preop and now feel it helped prepare me... while the waiting was not fun... it was worth every day to get to the surgery. Bravo to you!
Savor the moment my dear. You are on your way!

Wow - you have to pay the CO_PAY a WEEK ahead. That's kind of an unusual practice-I am 6 weeks out and I haven't even gotten a bill for my co-pay yet. I did from the hospital- and I paid it. But again, I wasn't billed til AFTER the service was rendered.
I can see making people paying out of pocket pay ahead. But co-pays?
That' not usually done. Oh well. Good luck and Congratulations- it shows if you stick with the plan you will get there eventually.
