OT: Silly Love Songs

Hey Bette, What a great post idea. My ultimate favorite love song was our wedding song: "Unchained Melody" , we were married in 1992. Our first date was to see the movie Ghost and I just fell in love with the song. Its our favorite. meatloaf- " I would do anything for love" It is our song We played cribbage on line together- for 6 months before we even broached the subject of meeting in real life/ then we were just chatting as normal- and he asked me what I was listening to on the cd player I said Meatloaf He said Me too I told him I was listening to "I would do anything for love" We started typing the words back and forth "Would you raise me up? Would you help me down? Would you get me right out of the God forsaken town? Would you making all a little less old?" "I would that" " I know the territory- I've been around, it will all turn to dust, and we'll all fall down. Sooner or later you'll be screwing around" "I won't do that, no I won't do that' Next thing I know I went over to his apartment. 6 weeks later I had a ring on my finger We were married 11 months later It's been almost 12 years. 4 kids, lots of cats, a minivan and a small farm.

Yeah I don't know what I did...but he was like a puppy dog after a cookie let me tell you what. LMAO, My co workers at the time were very skeptical. I run into one now and again and they can't believe we are still married and have 4 kids etc. etc.....You never know when "the one" is going to show up.
