"You'd think that people would have had enough of silly love songs. But look around me and I see it isn't so." -Paul McCartney So . . . what's YOUR favorite love song? For me: "To Make You Feel My Love" (written by Bob Dylan, preferred versions by Garth Brooks and Billy Joel.) When the rain is blowing in your face And the whole world is on your case I would offer you a warm embrace To make you feel my love When evening shadows and the stars appear And there is no one to dry your tears I could hold you for a million years To make you feel my love Know you haven't made your mind up yet But I would never do you wrong Known it from the moment that we met No doubt in my mind where you belong I'd go hungry, I'd go black and blue I'd go crawling down the avenue There ain't nothing' that I wouldn't do To make you feel my love The storms are raging on a rolling sea And down the highway of regret The winds of change are blowing wild and free But you ain't seen nothin' like me yet There ain't nothin' that I wouldn't do Go to the ends of the earth for you Make you happy make your dreams come true To make you feel my love Bette

I am a big sucker for sappy love songs, you name it and I have cried in the dark singing them. I remember singing "Eternal Flame" with my girlfriends in high school. We just thought that was the deepest, most passionate song ever! But since today is Valentine's Day and tomorrow will be two years with my bf, I will say my favorite love song is "Take it to the limit" by the Eagles. When we first decided that we were really be serious about each other we would lay around and sing this song to each other. I'm not even sure if it is really a "love song" but the part that meant is You can spend all your time making money You can spend all your love making time If it all fell to pieces tomorrow Would you still be mine?

I heard "Born Again" A song by Billy Preston and Sorita In the Mid 70's and decided then and there That it was going to be my wedding song. Got married 5/5/89. No one rememberd it, but when they heard it, they loved it. Come bring me your softness, Comfort me thru all this Madness Woman don't you know with you, I'm born again. Come bring me, your sweetness, Lying here there is no weakness, Lying safe within your arms, I'm born again. It's a lovely song and to this day one of my favorites. Take care, Julio

Well, I think my wedding song was one of my favorite but I have to say that the words to the ones you all have written seem to be very meaningful. I also got married in 1989 and our song was "I'll Always Love You" by Taylor Dane. I don't think one verse is better than another, just love the entire song! Nancy K

Awwww you little sap! ;) I am too - Our official wedding song was All my Life by Linda Rondstadt and Aaron Neville - Am I really here in your arms? It's just like I dreamed it would be, Feel like I'm frozen in time, your the only one I can see but I really love the song on my wedding video - Don't know much...... Don't know much, But I know I love you and that may be all I need to know But I also love the final song on my wedding video - it's probably my all time favorite love song.......Here and Now by Luther Vandross When I look in your eyes There I see Just what you mean to me Here in my heart I believe Your love is all I'll ever need Holdin' you close through the night I need you, yeah I look in your eyes and there I see What happiness really means The love that we share makes life so sweet Together we'll always be This pledge of love feels so right And, ooh, I need you Here and now I promise to love faithfully [Faithfully] You're all I need Here and now I vow to be one with thee [You and me], hey Your love is all [I need] I need Say, yeah, yeah... When I look in your eyes, there I'll see All that a love should really be And I need you more and more each day Nothin' can take your love away More than I dare to dream I need you Here and now I promise to love faithfully [Faithfully] You're all I need Here and now I vow to be one with thee [You and me], yeah Your love is all I need [Starting here] Ooh, and I'm starting now I believe [I believe in love], I believe [Starting here] I'm starting right here [Starting now] Right now because I believe in your love So I'm glad to take the vow Here and now, oh I promise to love faithfully [Faithfully] You're all I need Here and now, yeah I vow to be one with thee [You and me], yeah Your love is all I need So very romantic! Thanks for this valentines break Bette! Tammy
