Beagle Puppy
Hi Everyone...
I was at the hairdresser yesterday and a woman was talking about an adorable beagle puppy that was found on the side of the road. Someone had hit him and just left him there. He had a broken pelvis and Rippowam Animal Hospital in Stamford took him in and has been caring for him. He's in perfect health now and a real sweetie. He's about a year old. When this woman visits him he just looks at her with those big ole brown eyes...pleading for her to take him home with her!! She brings him fuzzy blankets and toys to help keep him happy!!
So if anyone is interested in providing this poor pup with a caring, loving home, please call Rippowam Animal Hospital at 203-329-8811. They are located at 888 High Ridge Road in Stamford.
I feel so bad for this little guy and just had to post in case anyone is interested.

Poor thing is probably a throw away- people go to pet stores and make impulse buys of poorly bred animals- who were whelped in puppy mills, and then they get them home and a few months down the line find out there is this problem or that- and the dog isn't trainable and the dog isn't a cute little puppy any more- so it goes out to the street to fend for itself (because the humane society charges you to dump your animal on them) That poor Beagle - probably has no idea what he did to end up on the street-then it inevitably got hit by a car- thank God for vets who will treat these poor things- and people willing to adopt them...The answer is- DON'T BUY PET STORE ANIMALS Research the breed and buy from a reputable home based small breeder- who is conscientious and breeds only healthy animals who are properly cared for and socialized. (Do I sound like I am a breeder-LOL okay guilty as charged...I am . I hate pet stores. They are horrid. I despise idiots who toss out their pets like a broken toy even more- my dog is a puppy mill dog- her former owners ditched her when she was about a year. Yes, she's a tad "slow" and doesn't even know her name- but she's mostly housebroken and loves the kids and just wants a somebody to love her. It's not her fault her breeder was a greedy soulless jerk. Okay I am done with the soap box, NEXT?????
Bernadette...I agree with you totally. What kind of dogs do you breed?
I also have a puppy mill puppy. But my vet does all the exams on all the animals at this pet store so I knew I was getting a healthy little furbaby. And she is the love of my life!! Happy, energetic and extremely smart. Just overly protective of me to the point where she's snapped at a couple people including my mom!!
Hopefully, the little guy will find a home soon and get all the love he deserves. I really wish I could take him.
Have a great day.
