Hi, All! This coming Mon., 2/6, is the 1st Mon. of the month, so the support group meeting at Middlesex Hospital in Middletown (6:30 - 7:30 p.m.) is for pre-ops only. It's the mandatory, 1 required per person, meeting at which the program psychologist and dietician present info. all of Dr. Aranow's pre-ops need to know. That same night, the Hamden support group will meet from 6:30 - 8 p.m. at the Senior Center (behind the Miller Library on Dixwell Ave.). The Hamden group isn't affiliated with any doctor or hospital and is open to all pre- or post-ops. It's run by a couple of post-ops and is attended by mostly post-ops. Tues., 2/7, is the 1st Tues. of the month, so it's time for Middlesex Hospital's monthly post-op only support group meeting (6:30 - 7:30 p.m.). Most attendees are patients of Dr. Aranow, but all post-ops are welcome. A group of us will be going to dinner afterward. Who wants to join us? If you need directions to either meeting, pls. e-mail me. Have a good weekend, Debby

I'll go to both! We can go whenever you want, just call me at work on Monday, doesn't matter what time we go. I'll be in the hills of MA this Sunday and have been told there is no cell service? (its Deliverance country apparently) so just try me at work on Monday whenever you get a chance. Thanks!

Hi, Andrea! Once you turn into the entrance of the library parking lot, head for the far left corner. The Senior Center is attached to the back of the library, with its own entrance, and has its own parking area adjacent to the library parking lot, but if you want to walk a little further you can park in the library lot. Christine D. and I will be there. Since we both have pictures posted on the board, but you don't, you'll recognize us, so please introduce yourself to us Mon. night. The room used for the meeting varies, but it's always listed on the board which sits on an easel in the lobby once you walk in. Debby

Hi Debby! I'm having surgery on Monday, 2/6, but I won't be a pre-op at that point so I won't make it to the meeting. But, Tuesday, maybe I'll mosie on down, IV and all, just to say "hi"...LOL! Just kidding. Have a great meeting & maybe I'll be at the next one. Hugs to you! -Pat W.
