Plastic Surgeon

Hi All, I wanted to get references to plastic surgeons and some ideas of prices. My insurance does not cover any plastic surgery and I am going to pay out of pocket. I am looking for a good not too expensive surgeon... Ideas.... Magaly

Magaly, Check with MaryJo R and Robert Mastrianna on the board, they both just had the surgeries and are doing great. I know Maryjo's surgeon is out of New Haven and Milford and the Valley. He did a great job on her and he is wonderful. I can't remember his name off hand, but I visited with her on Friday night and she looks wonderful. Good luck sweetie. Hugs KimC

Hi Magaly! I just had my abdominoplasty done on 1/3/06. I am from Derby and I used Dr. David J. Goodkind from Plastic /Reconstructive Surgery Associates. He works out of New Haven, Milford, and Ansonia. I found out about him from going to one of our WLS support groups and he was a speaker. He is VERY experienced, and very thorough, great bedside manners, very funny, nice Doctor. You can tell he loves doing what he does and he strives to get it to look perfect. I am so happy with my results. He went above and beyond my expectations. His office is also very pleasant to work with. I had the surgery out of Milford Hospital. He also does surgeries in Griffin Hospital and St. Raphaels as well. The number to his office is 203-624-5536. Good luck on your journey! Keep us posted! Once I heal a little more, I am going to take alot of after pics and I took alot of before too. It is amazing! What can be done to your body!
