 Tammy, I am pretty sure it is on a case by case basis. I had to do 4 week liquid diet, yet other patients of Dr R that I have met have only done 2 weeks.  For me it was due to my size.

Nancy hit it on the head. Because of my BMI (it was 59 when I first saw him) he had me start the liquid diet the same day I saw him for the first time.

It actually ended up being 8 weeks on the liquid diet.

Depending on your BMI, you are either on it for 2 or 4 weeks.

I'm really excited for next week when I will be able to eat scrambled eggs, yogurt and cottage cheese!
