I HAVE A SURGERY DATE!!!!!!!!!

HEY Y' ALL TODAY WAS MY CONSULT WITH MY SURGEON DR. GIOVANNI AT ST. FRANCIS HOSPITAL SHE WORKS WITH DR.BARBA! SHE WAS SUPER NICE...WENT OVER WHAT TO EXPECT BEFORE AND AFTER SURGERY. AND WHAT MY BEST OPTIONS WOULD BE!! WE BOTH DECIED I WILL HAVE THE LAPROSCOPTIC GASTRIC BYPASS!! BUT IF ANYTHING HAPPENS SHE WILL DO OPEN. BUT YES ALL WENT WELL WE TALKED ABOUT 30 MINUTES, SIGNED SOME FORMS AND THEN WENT TO SEE JESSICA AND MADE SOME DATES. FEBUARY 6 TH I WILL HAVE AN ENDOSCOPY AND MY TENTATIVE DATE FOR SURERY (AS LONG AS MY INSURANCE CLEARS IT) IS.............................FRIDAY MARCH 3RD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hi there, i too have dr.giovanni,my endoscpy is scheduled for the 13th,and tentative surgery date is the 9th of march.good luck to you,we are gonna miss each other by just a few days.i am so excited ,i feel like i will be able to run those circles around my kids real soon..good luck on your journey toni!!!!

Congratulations on your date to both of you. I am just starting my journey. I go for my initial group consultation on Feb. 7 and my one on one session with the dr. on Feb 9. I too hope to be joining the countless others out there who have had the strength and courage to make this courageous decision. I only wish I had made my decision years ago, but today is better than tomorrow. I sincerely wish you both nothing but best wishes for your surgery. Joe
