Trying not to graize once post op and out a while...
The first week or so are tough, but you get by...

 For me it was the decision making process and the first couple of weeks trying to get all the liquids in. The good thing is that now it seems like a blur as I continue to have success.

I am 8 days out and feeling much better. I agree that concentrating on getting liquids in while feeling crummy was the main challenge.

the first week...week and a half were the worst (from my experience)... it takes alot getting used to, and has a huge emotional toll..

as I approach my two year anniversary..the hardest part for me is my head catching up with my body!  emotionally at times I am still 220 lbs heavier....I have been blessed with never really feeling hunger..althought I do have cravings now and again!  I STILL have not learned to eat slow...and YES...I still pay for it!  but I have learned how to eat healthy....and NEVER waste space or calories on bread....I love breadless sandwichs!!

the most important part...remembering YOU are WORTH IT!

thanks for the feedback. im a week away from surgery now and have plenty to think about lol im still pretty excited but the nerves are starting to kick in
