Hello Everyone - I have been "lurking" and once in a while posting some responses, but I have never given a formal "hello" to you all! Hi Tammy.... Glad you said Hello! What a great group of peeps we got here! Are you coming to the GALA in March??? I am very excited about it (feel like its tomorrow!) I saw a dress at the mall the other day that I loved, but thought, I have no reason to buy it.... NOW I DO! I cant wait to go and meet people and have some fun. How are you doing in your journey?? Have you shared your successes with anyone here? (I have been on the boards for quite a while, but have been away from posting for some time too... so forgive me if you have been sharing and I missed it) Anyway... Glad you said HI! Sweet Mammy!

Hi There - Thanks for the warm welcome! I'll think about going to the gala in March I appreciate the invite..... I have my journey pretty much documented in my profile - I'm not the greatest at writing all the time - but I've been trying to keep track of stuff...... I don't have a lot of time for the boards because I work 36 hours a week (M-Th) at Hamilton Sundstrand, I am going to school for my Masters and most importantly I have a 3 year old son (oh yeah and a great husband too - I'm very fortunate), that's why I've been lurking more then sharing - it just is a lot less time, ya' know? But I am thrilled to be welcome with such open arms from a group of my fellow "Nutmeg Staters" - or whatever we call ourselves! (Connecticuters doesn't sound right either......) It's funny because they say the New England States are not as friendly as the other states in this country - but living here my entire life, I don't see it..... Hi Kathy - Thanks for the welcome! I will think about going to the party -to tell you the truth, I usually don't go to many parties any more - it's funny because when I was in my 20's I LIVED for parties...My how 15 years of marriage and a toddler have changed me! It is something to think about though - I have several friends who have gone through the WLS already that might be fun to go with.......If I go, I'll look you up! Thanks! Tammy
