APPROVAL!!!

I was just going thru the mail that just came into the office and I opened a letter from BC/BS and was getting ready to file it before I realized that it had MY name on it and that it was my APPROVAL staring me in the face!!! I am having surgery on MArch 8th! Jessica

I am very excited but I am also nervous as hell! I never even gave my bypass a second thought...once I made the decision to do it, I never questioned it or waivered...but this time its really different. I'm really worried. Maybe it different because I am on this side of it now, but I think that the worry is going to get to me. There are exactly 49 days till the procedure and I am a nervous wreak! Jessica

Hi Jessica! Congratulations! I am 2 weeks post-op from full abdominoplasty. I would do it all over again! I was more nervous for this than I was for my wls...actually i was not nervous for wls. But, you know, you will be just fine! There is nothing to get nervous about. We are healthier now to go through operations, and they are just dealing with skin, not your internal organs. Beleive me, once you see the new tummy! You will be in amazement! I know I was. It is more painful than wls, but nothing all of us that have been through wls can't handle. Good luck on the second part of your journey! If you have any questions , please don't hesitate to ask me! Also, if you want to see some before after pics so far just let me know and I can email them to you! They took off 17.5 pounds of skin from me! Just go for it girl!
