Dr Robert Bell -- experiences? Really struggling to make a decision (long)

I am an "oldie" here and haven't posted in a bit, but 7/21 will be my 5th anniversary, and Dr. Bell did my surgery.  I would not use any other doctor EXCEPT Dr. Bell.  He is the absolute best doctor for any type of WSL.  My friend used Dr. Valin, and is having huge problems and has never seen him again; his wife sees you after surgery.  Dr. Bell follows his patients forever.  Also, he is employed by Yale and does not get paid per surgery, so that in itself tells you how dedicated he is to the cause.

Good luck.

Thanks, JA. I called yesterday and I got someone different than I did the first time I called. At first I thought she was going to blow me off like the other woman I spoke with but when I said I had my psych clearance and that I had met with the nutritionist and had an endoscopy she asked for my info and is sending me an information packet and questionnaire that I need to fill out and send back with copies of my clearances and letter of necessity from my primary care.

Progress? I hope!

Good luck, and you won't be sorry, trust me...Dr. Bell is absolutely wonderful! and he really cares about every patient!  Keep me posted! And if you need an angel, I'd be happy to step in.

Just chiming in with another love story about Dr. Bell.  I believe things happen for a reason.  I almost went thru St. Raphaels, but they didn't take my insurance, so I went to Dr. Bell.  I have been thrilled.  No complications, great support group, great aftercare.  I would not  have gotten better care anywhere else.  Please email anytime.  Diane.
