1st and foremost....I am sad to report that I lost my mom a week ago today. (1-2-06) Some of you who I talk to more closely with knew she was just diagnosed with cancer October 29th. She was just 48 yrs old. So 2nd.....I did postpone my surgery. It was suppsoed to be this Friday, but I just have too much going on right now with arrangements etc. So my new date is 2-1-06. Bree

Bree, I am so sorry about your Mom. I lost my Dad that way. He died 1 month after he was diagnosed. It felt like a freight train plowing through our lives..so much to process with so little time. Sending you many prayers and big hugs as you work through this difficult time. terri

Hi Bree, I am so very very sorry about your Mom. How awful for you and your family. I was so saddened to hear about your loss especially with your Mom being so young. I get chills when I think about it because I am 49. I understand you having to postpone your surgery, but I am glad to see that you have it rescheduled. You know, I lost my Mom to cancer 16 yrs ago and it does get easier as time goes by, but there is never a day that goes by that I don't miss her and think about her. God bless you and know that my prayers are going out to you. Sandy

Bree, So sorry about the loss of your mom. You are in our thoughts and prayers at this time. 48 is too young.... You will know have a guardian angel to help you through the next stage of your life...especially when you have surgery, she will be looking over you. I know that my dad has and all good things have come my way since he has passed away and I know he is working up there.I am sure your mom will too! Take care, God Bless, MaryJo
