Hello everyone, Hope everyone had a good New Years! Well I went and had my stricture fixed. It wasn't so bad. I can burp now. Wow! I am not sure what the numbers are but the doctor said the opening usually is around a 15. He said I was about a 2, so he stretched me to a 10 and I have to go back in 3 weeks and he will go up to the 15. But what a difference it has made already!! I can eat and more than just 2 bites. It stays down and I have variety again. I love my soup but it was getting boring.I am so glad I asked about it when I did. Thank You all so much for your responses and your help.I might not have done anything about it with out you all persisting I do. Hugs, Sarah

HI I AM GLAD YOU FEEL BETTER. I HAD A STRICTURE AND WAS IN THE HOSPITAL FOR A WEEK. THE PAIN WAS INTENSE, BUT LIKE YOU SAID IT IS SUCH A DIFFERENCE WHEN THEY FIX THE STRICTURE. BEST WISHES IN YOUR RECOVERY BLESSINGS SPLENDALICIOUS
