Support Group Meeting Monday

Hi, All! Mon., 1/9, is the 2nd Mon. of the month, so the support group meeting at Middlesex Hospital in Middletown (6:30 - 7:30 p.m.) is for both pre- and post-ops. Although most attendees are patients of Dr. Aranow, anyone is welcome. There'll be general discussion, questions and answers. After the meeting, a group of us (both pre- and post-ops) go out to dinner. Please consider joining us, even if you'd rather eat before (or are only having liquids). The restaurants we go to don't mind if someone just has a glass of water. And the point of going out isn't the food...it's the additional support and the chance to get to know each other better. Between holidays and the way the weather's been lately, I haven't been to a meeting in weeks and I really miss it. Hopefully whatever precipitation they're predicting for Sun. into Mon. doesn't turn out to be much of anything. If you need directions, please e-mail me. Have a good weekend! Debby

Hey Debbie! I haven't been on here in forever or at a meeting for that matter! I need to hop back on the wagon! Can you tell me what this coming Monday's meeting is? I hope it involves post -ops cause I actually have the evening off and would love to come! Hope your Holidays were great! Kristin

Hi, Kristin! Since Mon., 1/16, is the 3rd Mon. of the month the meeting is for both pre- and post-ops. Although it's MLK Day, it's not a hospital holiday, so the meeting will go on as usual. Hope to see you there (and maybe at dinner after?), Debby
