Holiday Weight
Ok, final tally, drumroll please.... I have gained 6 lbs over the holidays. Completely my fault, too much food, too little exercise. So now I am gonna try to go back to basics:
protein focused meals
healthy carb snacks (needed to maintain my blood sugar)
more liquids (at least 50 oz)
exercising 4x a week (at least 20 minutes).
But its gonna be hard. I have become very lazy. I used to live in the gym but now I just want to go home and sleep. I need to adopt some sort of mantra like "Nothing tastes as good as being thin feels" But I actually think that originated from anoxerics. Oh well. At any rate, I need something, I can't stand to watch the scale climb anymore.
Hey Christine,
Hey there sweetie, its okay, you will get back on track. You have come this far in your success to turn back now. Just take time for yourself and stay positive. You know you can do it.
Stay focused and don't get depressed. Take it day by day and you will get back on your journey.
Love ya

Christine,
Okay... holidays are over let's Shake it of girl!
Really, I think these are feelings we are all haunted with from time to time especially after the holidays when we let our guards down a little.
Going back to basics is a great idea. I have been trying to do that the last couple of days too and although I haven't been perfect, the scale has been moving in the downward direction again. Drumroll.....for me I gained 5 pounds over the holidays.
WE CAN DO THIS! I don't have a mantra, but I have been telling myself the last few days that in order to keep this new body and all the great new clothes feeling good on it --- I have to stay committed to myself by eating right and exercising. so lets go!!! WE ARE WORTH IT CHRISTINE!
psyched yet?
LOL terri
