2nd Part of journey starts tomorrow! No more jelly belly!

Hi Everyone! Well, tomorrow morning January 3rd....the second part of my weight loss journey will start. I am having a full abdominoplasty! Doctor expect to take off about 10 pounds of extra skin/fat. I simply can not wait to have a flat tummy, the last time i did I was probably 3 years old! I am more nervous over this than I was over my wls.....it sounds crazy but true. I am also very excited as well. I am nervous about the outcomes, and the recovery..not nervous about the surgery. I know it is going to be hard for me for the first week becuase of my 2 little boys that are 18 months and 28 months....I have to stay confined to a certain part of the house, they will want me to pick them up and play and I won't be able too. That will be the hardest part...... It will all be worth it in the end though....to finally see a "thinner" person in the mirror and not these veils of skin hanging down ........ hopefully after this...the butterfly will finally emerge! 2005 was a year of up and downs........a big rollercoaster ride.....so we are praying that 2006 will be a wonderful year for us and what a way to start off the New Year! A new Tummy! Thank you everyone for all of you support! Also, Kathy K....thank you! You will be in my shoes in 2006...I promise you this! then I can walk you through how this surgery will be! I am sure I'll be on the boards during my recovery...I'll have access to my laptop and I won't be able to do much! I'll let everyone know how I make out! Hi MaryJo Here's to an uneventful surgery and a relatively pain free recovery. You'll be walking around hunched over for a bit, but when you see that wonderful "flat" tummy, you'll stand up straight with pride over all of the hard work you've done! Congrats. paula
