Need help.....Couldnt eat but a few bites this morning and then had to vomit...

And while vomiting I saw blood........I called the doctor already and they gave me advise but I would really like to know if this has happened to anyone. I was scaredand freaked out when it happened. I have to go for some tests this week becasue of this. I thought maybe an ulser....Any ideas. Has anyone experienced this. I am four months out and I was doing great until this incident. I have lost 71 lbs so far.... Happy new year everyone..........and I really would like so feed back if anyone has any. Thanks Lisa

Hi Lisa, Sorry you had a scare during your holiday. You have already talked to your doctor and that's the most important step to take. Vomiting is a very traumatic episode for your digestive system and it's possible to disrupt the soft tissues that exsist in it. Thats why people with eating disorders do so much harm to themselves when they eat then go to the bathroom to expel all they have just eaten. Stay calm and wait to see what the test's say. I have spit up a little blood once during a very bad in the old days when I was a party animal. So, take care and hopefully it will be something that can be taken care of easily.
