Info about New London support group.

Does anyone have information about the New London group that I believe meets at L.M. Hospital. Thanks Scott

Hi Scott, I don't know when the L&M one meets. But I'm sure you'll get an answer from someone. If you write [email protected] she'll give you info on the meetings held monthly on the (I believe) last Thursday of the month in the employee building right at Mohegan. Paula

If you call Dr. Robert Bell's office in New Haven, his staff will be happy to give you the schedule.

The Group meets the third Wednesday of every month from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at L& M Hospital in New London. Just ask the receptionist where the room is, and she'll point the way. It is a friendly and welcoming group, a good mix of people, from those who are looking for information pre-op to those who are several years post op, and everyone in between. We have had our surgeries done by various Doctors, mostly in thre New Haven area. The format varies across a wide range of discussions, usually on the upbeat side, to guest speakers, such as nutritionists or psychiatrists. New faces are always welcome. Margo

We have a guest speaker this month, it is Donna Kirby-Reynolds who has been post-op for over 20 years (approximately), she is a great speaker and has much knowledge, I am sure you will love her. Hi Scott, The next New London Meeting is on Wednesday the 18th of January at 6:00 P.M. in the Baker Auditorium at the Lawrence and Memorial Hospital. It is your first room on the righ when entering and directly across from the receptionist desk.
