HAS ANYONE GOt APPROVED IN 3 MONTHS??
i replied to your post before...i to have chn..and they require a minimum of six months nutrition counseling.. there is not much you can do to get around that... i only know bc i was scheduled to have surgery back in march...but then the insurance changed and required the six months.. so i had to wait.... it has taken me a total of six mo to get the surgery.. i wish you the best of luck
My husband from start to finish was four weeks. He did all pre op tests, had his initial visit and did all his required meetings and got approved in that time frame. It was very quick. We have BCBS federal plan.
This was prior to the necessary 6 mos waiting period that most ins cos require you to do, now.

Same time frame as Karen C.
The Empire Plan (United Health Care for doc, Empire BCBS for hosp).
Slight delay because office held paperwork about ten days after it was already complete but both insurers approved me within 24 hrs of receipt.
