Hey Ed, I was reading this morning and saw your face on FRONT page.I read your article and it was an excellent article and right words to edcation for people out there to read abput our WLS. True! Wow, what an amazing man! I could relate to his emotional changes a lot. I used to be the "life of the party" too and now find I have a hard time with "small talk". And I'm not sure why either. I could also relate to how others react to him. This was such an honest article, I guess I'm surprised at how accurate and well written it was. Usually newspapers are skewed to the negative side of this surgery. Kathy, it was so great to hear from you. I am glad you are doing so well. You are so important to these CT boards, never ever leave!! So many of us get too busy and stop coming back. I read almost every day even though I don't post. The support in our State is the best. I agree with Cheryl, what a honest article. I was so nice to see the process put out there for what it is, a lot of hard work but worth it in the end. I especially liked how they mentioned that he wah gained some weight back but didn't make it seem as if it was a failure or something. I hope that this will convince some in the area that gastric bypass can be a very positive decision. Thanks for posting this artcile Kathy!
