It's 5am do you know where your pre-op is?
What the heck is the sense of having a later surgery when you can't friggin sleep???? Been up since 3am. Thirsty as all heck thanks to the scop patch which has turned me into a serious cotton mouth but done nothing for the butterflies in my tummy.
There is no doubt in my mind Iam doing the right thing- its just getting thru th enext few days, hours really that have me up at this hour- that and the fact that darling hubby has for some reason decided to sleep sideways in our king size bed- confining me to a 2 foot square space. Won't it be nice when my butt actually can fit on a corner of the bed like that. I swear how can a man who weighs half as much as I do take up 5/8 ths of a King size bed????
Okay so ya think I was being a bit maudlin last night? I took my older girls out to ge their haircuts they wanted, and the next thing I know I am in the pet store next to the cost cutters buying the two cutest Lionhead bunnies I ever saw....They named them Peanut Butter and Mango. Just what the 15 cats, 32 chickens 4 French Angora Rabbits 3 sheep and one dog needed- new friends....oh and three fish too.
Just ask Tammy - she'll tell you I run a petting zoo not a home.....
Enough rambling I have to go have an anxiety attack and throw up- see you all on the losing side in a few.
I know you are going to do GREAT! Can't wait to see you in your hospital jammies. They are SOOOO stylish! ;)
Aidan kept doing his "**** o doodle doo" like your rooster all day yesterday. He cried so hard, he didn't want to leave. I think you could actually charge admission to your "petting zoo."
Can't wait to get the phone call that all is well!
Love,
Tammy

Best of luck Bern... hope everything runs smoothly and quickly for you!
HAHAHA oh my goodness, LOL on the sideways sleeper!! UGH, my ex hubby was the EXACT same way... CONSTANTLY!! He'd just sprawl himself out on the bed, and twist himself up in the blankets like a piggy-in-a-blanket so I had like 3 inches of blanket to cover me! Usually before morning, I would end up halfway off the bed.... and cold. HAHAHA. Eventually he started sleeping on the couch so that solved MY problem right there!! hahaha
Aidan had the typical reaction to the farm - usually children drive their parents nuts wanting to know when they are coming back to our house.
Especially the kids from Fairfield County and New York City who come up to buy a kitten. They are just tickled by the "country folk"
Who'da thought a city gal like me would like farm living in the country?
Green Acres is the place for me!
