Congraulations on making the decision to have WLS and now with your date for surgery just around the corner you will be with all the other "losers" on the losers' bench very soon.

You will do fine, just follow your doctors plan for eating, drinking, exercise and supplements. Reach out for the support you will need, here at OH and at group support meetings.

It is perfectly normal to be anxious, feel free to ask any questions you might have, I am sure someone will be happy to answer them for you.

Wishing you all the best on your WLS journey.

Sher

God bless - you'll be fine! Just relax, breathe, and think nothing but good, strong, positive thoughts. Be well. Maureen

Congratulations!  The waiting is hell but you've got less than a month to go.  Its exciting and nerve wracking isn't it.  My overnight bag was prepped two weeks in advance!

You'll do fine.  The odds of zero complications are overwhelmingly in your favor.

WOW!! Thank you, I needed that!  GOD BLESS YOU!  I know everything is going to be alright.  I trust and believe in my Father GOD with all my heart.  It's just the waiting, the overwheliming waiting!  The mind numbing, thought possesive, waiting.

Use this time to educate yourself. I reread everything Dr. Duffy gave me daily.  I also started looking for recipes that would carry me through the first few stages.  It does come before you know it, and it is SSSSOOOOOOO worth the wait. Or should I say weight
