Dr. Duffy

Hi,
I am scheduled for rny with Dr. Duffy 6-1-09 and am curious as to why I never see anything from any of his patients.

too busy out having fun.  I had rny done by Dr Duffy 16 months ago today I am down 134.5 lbs in total from my highest weight and I am just over a normal bmi.  Everything was great as was he.

Hi Princess,  I live in North Stonington(last town before RI).  I am going to the group in New London and it will be my first one.  I was at the info session at the temple medical office on April 14th.  Were you there? 
I am just awaiting final insurance approval and getting all my stuff together for after surgery. I can't believe it !!! I can't wait!!
I will be in New Haven on May 26 for my preop day.

I live in Hamden and only occasionally go to meetings.  I am of the mindset that this surgery was to help with a medical issue.  It has helped me to get my disease in check and I have taken steps (no pun intended) to get myself moving.  This is much easier as a size 8 than it was as a 26.  good luck and remember be good to yourself and allow yourself to suceed, You deserve it.

Your time is approaching fast!  Do you have a date for your preop appt?  Mine is May 26.

Hi-I had Dr. Bell in the same practice, but Dr. Duffy saw me one day in the hospital, and I saw him at one appointment when Dr. bell had na emergency.  He is just as wonderful as dr. Bell, and he was very kind, and spent lots of time with me-didn't rush me, and answered all my questions.  The floor they put their patients on at Yale was great-the staff was very attentive, and I got excellent care.  Everyone went out of their way, and I never had to wait when I needed help.  there was only one nurse on the night staff who was very abrupt-.  Overall it was a great experience and I would do it again.  I had the VSG.  Good luck.

Thanks for the reply and it's great to hear good things about Yale and Dr. Duffy.
Originally I was referred to Dr. Bell but when they found out about my Barretts esophagus and reflux they said Dr. Duffy would be good for me.  He was great at the group info meeting.
