Hi Carla! I see you are in Orange... Any morning you want to "walk", join me at the Post Mall... 6:15 or 6:30 and walk for about 45 mins. Enter through Panera Mall entrance... Gets my day going on a positive note...ups the endorphins and serotonin levels... resulting in less stress. It's gotta help with the weight loss. Right? And helps me get in more H20. here!!! LOL Counting down the days til surgery, on the 28th. Freaking Insurance company is dragging their heels. Oh well- at this point its a go anyway- I would just like to NOT have to empthy a bank account to do this- but regardless of the Insurance company its a go. I just rearranged the kitchen and made myself a little "post-op cupboard" with all my shake supplies, cream soups, Crystal light, etc LOL- in easy reach of course. I stocked up on stuff for the kids that my hubby can throw together- mac n chz and tuna box dinners, ordered a freezer full from Schwans...all my shopping is done the tree is up...just have to wrap...went to see Chronicles of Narnia with my oldest two- then took them to Friendly's- don't even miss the Ice cream to tell you the truth. Had diet coke and grilled chicken and veggies.

Hi Kim: This holiday season I am filled with so much gratitude for what I have been given (this tool)... and the new emerging life... the new me. I am enjoying each moment of freedom. Actually wore a skirt to a party. A biggie for me. I am ever grateful for this CT board on OH... You ALL are the best. Whatever each of you celebrates... Happiness and Joy to you. Towanda

I just found out from Jessica that my insurance company now requires me to have a Psychiatric consult because I am a revision. (Dr. Barba originally excused me from this consult). So as soon as i get this done and have my Cardioligist eval. I'm on my way. I wonder how long it will take to get a surgery date. Anyway, I'm gonna be going crazy this week. I'm one of those last minute shoppers for Christmas. I'll be pushing my way thru all of the other procrastinators out there come Thursday. Merry Christmas to all!! Stacey
