Good Morning Everyone: I thought I would start our weekly roll call to see how everyone is doing during this crazy time of year. Its a chilly one today and I am on my way to my niece Kacey's play at the Center for the Arts in New Haven. She is so talented in acting. I am so proud of her. Two of Erin's classmates are in the program too. Erin really enjoys acting and singing I hope to get her in this program in the near future. Well last night we baked some of my Nonny's cookies, I am trying to keep the tradition since she is no longer with us. I miss her so much. She was a great lady. I remember as a kid always spending so much time with her, baking, sewing, crocheting, going shopping. It was great. Now I want to pass this all down to Erin. Its a wonderful tradition. Today we will finish our shopping, just have to get my mom and Tom's mom and we are finally done, then the rest of the day I will finish my cookies. I love Christmas, its my favorite holiday next to Halloween when Erin was born. I love the decorations, the baking and of course the shopping. Now that I am 108lbs lighter I can enjoy it so much more. Its a great feeling to go places not get overheated or tired or depressed. I am so into this!!!! Thank you so much God for giving me this gift. I will treasure it the rest of my life. I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend. Stay warm and enjoy the holiday season. I wish you all the best!!! THE SCALE FINALLY MOVED!!!! Only alittle, but it moved. I am hoping it will start to progress now. Take care all, God Bless. Hugs KimC

Hi Kim. I've been busy as well at the bakery. Between the "Anginette's "and the "Gingerbread Men" and everything else we make there, will be a busy week next week. Hope you have a great day! Julio

Hi Jennie! Good going! Keep up the good work and remember that you have to keep hydrated and eat to heal up properly. Remember that a minute or two in a food chopper or blender makes just about anything into "Mushy food" So have fun experimenting and enjoy the "Journey". Be well, Julio

So... I received a holiday bell from our mutual elf acquatintance yesterday in class, and she mentioned it came from a certain Essex Santa. She wasn't sure of the significance... have I missed out on some secret holiday code? The analogy to mouse ears leaves me a bit disturbed... Dave

Jingle Jangle Jingle! Hello my dahling!!!!! It has been EONS since I last posted! Eegads, I have been so very bad!!! Must be on Santa's naughty list for sure now!!! The holidays are always so hectic. And definitely the winter is the 'load up on carb' time for me. Got to be so very careful! My answer to this 'hibernation mode' dilemma is to let it be (a little) and UP the exercise! So it's aerobics 3x/week AND the gym a few times/week to keep everything in balance. Hope to see you at my support group mtg Thurs night (12/22) 6pm at St Raph's. Hoping to keep it light and maybe have a little holiday cheer! Wishing everyone on the boards a fantastic Holiday Season!!! Ho ho ho... Hugs, Carla
