Mon. Night Support Group Meeting

Hi, All! Sorry this post is later in the week than usual, but I was waiting to hear about the possibility of a guest speaker (including a Powerpoint presentation). Having not heard anything yet, here goes with the usual info. This coming Mon. night, 12/12, is the 2nd Mon. of the month, so the support group meeting at Middlesex Hospital in Middletown (6:30 - 7:30 p.m.) is for both pre- and post-ops. Although most people are patients of Dr. Aranow, anyone is welcome. The meeting will probably consist of general discussion and questions and answers, but if the guest speaker does come, he's someone who spoke at a Hamden support group meeting earlier this year. I wasn't at that meeting, but heard that he gave an excellent presentation. After the meeting there's usually a group of both pre- and post-ops (mostly post-ops) who go out to dinner. I'll miss that (and the meeting) next week because I've got another meeting (for a charitable function that I'm working on) that I need to attend at 7:30. If only it were earlier and I could at least join some of you for dinner afterward. Oh, well... I'll see you on the 19th (weather permitting). If anyone needs directions, please e-mail me. Debby
