Silly Girl! Nobody's going to get on your case for slipping. We all do from time to time and the fact that you realized that you slipped just shows your fine! It's kinda scary at the stage that alot of us can eat more than we have been used to. We just have to watch it as far as what we do fill up on. Remembering to get our fluids and protien in. We all have to try to do our best and when we slip, know all we have to do is get up, dust ourselves off, and continue. If a hand is needed to help get back on track, know there are plenty here who will answer the call. Take Care, Julio

Kimmie, Don't be so hard on yourself. I know that you probably didn't eat and drink as much as you could have at a pre surgery Christmas party, right? The great thing about having this tool is that it reminds us that we are not the same anymore. And boy is that a good thing, because just think, if you ate that dessert and didn't get sick, you would be reaching for more dessert today and so on until you end up right back where you started. Think of it as a good lesson learned as you adjust to post WLS life. We are all going to have weak moments, but it how we spin out of it to get back on track that is the most important thing to learn. I have been feeling a little shaky lately myself. I talked it out here and with some friends and got some great advice and suuport to help me through. I recently had a good reminder of what can happen if I don't work with my WLS tools. I saw someone who had WLS surgery a few years ago who is struggling with weight regain. It became crystal clear to me that regaining the weight CAN happen and it was scary to think of how easy it is to do. It is good that you shared what happened to you last night. You got it out of your system and can move on now. There are lots more holiday parties coming your way which mean more chances to get it right, okay? Enjoy your party tonight... let us know how it goes. hugs terri
