Snowy...but beautiful!

Hi Guys! I'm just checking in to see how people are fairing in this snow. Be careful because there are some crazy driver's out there I'm at work.....and a bit bored! Hopefully that won't lead to unplanned eating. I'm going to go to Milford's Lamplight Stroll later tonight, and tomorrow I'm going to Newport to see the Astor Beechwood mansion. Hey Kelly, The roads are a mess here in Orange too. We cancelled all our activities at the Center, no transporation either. Its quiet, nice for a change. I was suppose to have a dem tonight, but had to cancel due to weather. I am bummed, oh well better luck next time. Have a Christmas party tomorrow night at Playwright in New Haven for Tom's work, that will be alot of fun, its beautiful there. Sunday I have a dinner dance at Grassyhill Lodge with the seniors. I have to work it too. But it will be fun. Have a great time tomorrow and be careful driving today if you go out. Have a wonderful weekend sweetie. Hugs KimC

Here in RI, it's an awful mix of snow/ice and rain and add in very high wind gusts and zero visibility and it's a recipe for a lot of accidents. My cast iron bench even blew over! I had to retrieve all of the kid's snow sledding things out of our pond..that was fun! The kid's school wasn't call out early, but I went at 1:15 and picked them up early to get them out and home safely earlier. Paula

Hi Kelly. Was driving to a dentist appointment about noon in branford and it was horrible out. The sun started peeking thru the clouds about 45 minutes ago so its looking better now. Be careful out there tonight as all this moisture is going to freeze and make it real slippery. Have a fun weekend! Take care, Julio
