I've got a date !!!!!!!!!!

I dont know if I should be jumping up and down or crying. January 11th. Dr Barba was so nice and calming, but know that I am home and in my regular schedule, I think about it all the time. I have worked for months to get where I am at and now I am thinking, Oh my God! What have I gotten myself into. I am just not sure what to think. Bree

Bree, Congratulations on getting a date. It is hard. I am a ball of emotions but the more I talk to post-ops the better I feel. Just remember you have to be patient. That is what I am dealing with now. I want to be better right away and totally know that isn't reality. You will get through it. All will be well and you will be on the lossing side with us. Bree, Take a deep breath and relax, congratulations on your first step in many to your journey on the losing side. You will do fine. We are all here to help and support. Bree I know how you feel I too have a surgery date with Dr. Barba Dec 12, I am still waiting for pre certifcation - and with only a week to go my nerves are shot Please feel free to email me if you need someone to talk to. Hopefully I will go this Monday and then I can let you know how it is on the other side and can help you on your journey. Bree, Congrats on getting a date! I can't give any great advice as I am pre-op as well, just starting my journey with the doctor. All I can say is I am sure you will do fine and you have a lot of support on this board. Remember to stay focused on your goal! Take Care, Nancy K
