Julio, You look amazing!!!!! Like a movie star I am having trouble eating lately....no major trouble, just not much of an appetite, so trying to make up for it by drinking milk throughout the day... so far today.. B 1 cup milk s slice of puertugese roll s 1 cup milk L 1/4 of 6 inch roast beef sub from subway, left most of the bread ... Also had a medium french vanilla decaf with milk and splenda.... D ??? Going to my husband's cousin's wedding....no idea what will be served....If it is informal, I expect lots of great Puerto Rican Food...If catered, who knows,,,Will do my best to eat protein first, than veggies gotta go get ready ... Hi Dorota, I have those days when the thought of eating doesn't thrill me at all. Make sure you are getting your vitamines and fluids. Hope you have a great time at the party. Thanks for the complement. Not star material by a long shot but gotta tell ya, Feels great being able to move around and get things done with energy to spare. Know what you mean about the "Puerto Rican" food. Grew up on it and am lucky enough to have learned how to cook alot of it from my mom.Pernil, (roast pork), with some white rice and red beans and a slice of avacado,( the smooth ones, not those hand grenades they sell at some stores) make my mouth water. Be well, Julio

Hi Dorota: In addition to Julio's suggestions...Try to get a protein shake in there if you can while doing more fluids. That will at least get your protein in. Towanda... baby steps... a day at a time

Towanda, I do use a protein drink to supplement my protein intake if I find I am not getting enough....It is 30 grams of protein...Usually I get in enough between the simply smart milk and the food I eat...If I don't, I will have the protein in the evening...sometimes I have it for breakfast if I am running late and don't have enough time for a real breakfast...which is more often than I like to admit...just a month ago I was having the protein for breakfast almost every morning...now I am down to perhaps 2 or 3 days per week...Baby steps it is...... Love, Dorota

Hi Kim, Sorry to hear about your daughter's injury. Tough to be in a cast during the holiday. I remember her from the walk and know it won't slow her down too much. She glows with energy and hopefully will heal up quickly. You have a good weekend , Take Care, Julio
